Micah Pettus, a former FSU offensive tackle, will attend the Kansas City Chiefs' rookie minicamp after going undrafted in the 2026 NFL Draft. He aims to secure a spot on the NFL roster with a strong performance.
Former FSU offensive tackle Micah Pettus has accepted an invitation from the Kansas City Chiefs to attend their rookie minicamp, announcing the news on social media.
Pettus went undrafted in the 2026 NFL Draft but has been given a chance to make an NFL roster with a strong showing at the minicamp. He spent one season with the Seminoles after starting his career with the Ole Miss Rebels, starting 11 games at right tackle.
He finished the year with a PFF grade of 72.5, including a 74.6 pass-blocking grade and a 70.4 run-blocking grade. He allowed 1.0 sack and 12 pressures in 307 chances.
The Harvest, Alabama native was named to the All-ACC Academic Team, received FSU Team Honors, won the Bill McGrotha Award for his humanitarian efforts, and was named the Offensive Newcomer of the Year.
Pettus spent four seasons at Ole Miss before transferring to FSU ahead of the 2025 season. After redshirting as a freshman, he played in 33 games over the next three seasons with 29 starts. He was listed as 6-foot-7 and 349 pounds during the season, but has lost plenty of weight during his work to make an NFL roster.
