Former Florida basketball guard Xaivian Lee was among the 44 players invited to the 2026 NBA G League Draft Combine, set to take place May 8ā10 at Wintrust Arena in Chicago.Ā He had also previously received an invitation back in 2024.
The three-day event provides NBA draft prospects with the opportunity to showcase their talent in front of NBA and NBA G League scouts, coaches, and front-office executives. Participants will take part in five-on-five games as well as strength and agility drills.
A select number of players from the draft-eligible group will earn invitations to the NBA Draft Combine 2026Ā later in the week, based on their performance at the NBA G League Combine.
Notable NBA players who have previously participated in the NBA G League Combine include former Gator and Indiana Pacers guard Andrew Nembhard, New York Knicks guard Jose Alvarado, Dallas Mavericks forward Caleb Martin, Brooklyn Nets guard Terance Mann, Cleveland Cavaliers guard Max Strus, and three-time AT&T Slam Dunk champion and two-time Kia NBA G League MVP .

The G League Combine will be Lee's second event in front of pro scouts over the past month after participating in the Portsmouth Invitational in mid-April. He earned Player of the Game recognition in his first appearance at the tournament after scoring aĀ game-high 25 points on 7-for-12 shooting, along with five rebounds, three assists and three steals over 28 minutes in a winning effort for team Mike Duman, Inc.
For the Gators, Lee averaged 11.6 points and a team-high 4.2 assists while starting all 35 games at point guard during the 2025-26 campaign. With the Princeton Tigers the year prior, he put up 16.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.2 steals per game while shooting 43.9% from the floor, including 36.6% from beyond the arc, earning the second of his back-to-back unanimous first-team All-Ivy League selections.
Lee was also the 10th Florida player in program history to earn Academic All-America honors last season.
