A former Michigan State linebacker still in the transfer portal will reportedly visit one of the top programs in the country this week.
College sports insider of On3 Pete Nakos is reporting that Michigan State transfer linebacker Darius Snow is set to visit Texas this week. The date of when Snow will visit was not immediately known.
Snow has been at Michigan State for six seasons, with his career starting in 2020. Across his time at Michigan State, Snow has appeared in 47 games, recording 161 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss and an interception.
Snow received a waiver for a 7th year of eligibility from the NCAA, making him eligible to play one more season in 2026. It appears he will be moving down to the group of five level, where he should be able to get some solid playing time.
Snow entered the transfer portal in early January but never committed to any team ahead of spring practice. He had reported visits with UNLV and Tulsa but didn't commit to either program. Now, it appears he is gaining interest from one of the few schools that is considered a national championship contender for next season.
