Former Pittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner will attend the NFL Draft to announce the Arizona Cardinals' day two picks on April 24. Conner, who now plays for the Cardinals, previously played for the Steelers after a successful college career at the University of Pittsburgh.
PITTSBURGH — Former Pittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner will return to the Steel City for the upcoming NFL Draft.
Conner, who now plays for the Arizona Cardinals, will announce his team’s day two picks on April 24, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Arizona holds picks No. 34 and No. 65.
Conner played college football at the University of Pittsburgh before four seasons with the Steelers. The Erie native has played for Arizona since 2021.
Conner’s 2025 season ended after he suffered a Week 3 foot injury which required surgery. The two-time Pro Bowler totaled 3,733 rushing yards and 52 touchdowns in four college seasons at Pitt before logging 2,302 yards and 22 TDs with the Steelers.
