The New York Giants held a workout for former Las Vegas Raiders cornerback Sam Webb this week, per NFL analyst Aaron Wilson.
Webb spent two seasons in Las Vegas across two separate tenures. The veteran was signed by the Raiders as an undrafted free agent in 2022, and Webb flashed his potential on numerous occasions during his rookie year in Las Vegas.
Webb would rejoin the Raidersā defense in 2024 following one season with the Carolina Panthers, but the corner was unable to make a true impact across 11 appearances. Webb could emerge as an excellent depth option in New York given the Giantsā underwhelming secondary, and an official announcement following his workout with the team is expected to arise in the near future.
