
Former Texas A&M guard Rubén Dominguez has signed with the Xavier Musketeers after one season with the Aggies. He averaged 10.2 points per game and will have two seasons of eligibility at Xavier.
Former Texas A&M guard Rubén Dominguez has found his new home, signing with the Xavier Musketeers out of the transfer portal, according to On3's Pete Nakos.
Dominguez spent just one season with the Aggies, playing in 34 games with 27 starts. The 6-foot-6, 213-pounder averaged 10.2 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game. He made 40.0% of his 3-point attempts on 6.3 attempts per game and was one of four Texas A&M players to shoot atleast 40% from deep.
He scored in double figures 18 times during the 2025-26 season, including in eight of their first nine games to start the season. He scored a career-high 30 points against Manhattan in their sixth game of the season, but he struggled in the second half of the season.
He is originally from Puerto Real, Spain, and played professionally overseas before joining the Aggies. He will have two seasons of eligibility at Xavier, which went 15-18 last season in Richard Pitino's first season as head coach.
Dominguez is ranked as the No. 110 player overall and No. 24 shooting guard in the transfer portal by On3. He is one of four Texas A&M players to enter the transfer portal and the first to find his next school.
