Vanderbilt baseball pulls off a hidden ball trick against Alabama!
Dwayne Aristode, a former Arizona transfer, has committed to the Oregon Ducks. The 6-foot-8 forward averaged 3.8 points and 1.7 rebounds last season, showcasing potential as a versatile two-way player.
The reconstruction of the Oregon Ducks' roster continues for Dana Altman, landing another talented young wing out of the transfer portal.
Arizona transfer forward Dwayne Aristode announced his commitment to the Ducks on Instagram on Thursday. Aristode averaged 3.8 points, 1.7 rebounds and 0.7 assists while shooting 49% from the field. He appeared in 35 games off the bench for the Wildcats as they made a run to the Final Four.
Although his role in Tucson was limited, Aristode's 6-foot-8, 220-pound frame is an intriguing addition to Altman's rotation. Despite not having incredible length, Aristode provides some upside as a two-way player for the Ducks on the wing.
He can slide from power forward to shooting guard, depending on how big the lineup is, and he's comfortable shooting from the perimeter. He connected on 46.2% of his shots from 3-point range last season. Aristode splashed six triples in a game off the bench in November against Northern Arizona.
The Ducks needed some extra size after adding Alabama transfer Taylor Bol Bowen and San Diego State transfer Pharaoh Compton underneath, and Aristode's versatility makes him a great fit on both ends of the floor. In the 2025 recruiting cycle, Aristode was the No. 29 overall recruit, per 247 Sports, and the top player coming out of the Netherlands.
Aristode will join Andrew Meadow, Tyrone Riley IV and incoming freshman Tajh Ariza on the wing and could be a big contributor right away. After a couple of misses, Altman has been able to land Boston College guard Fred Payne and now Aristode in consecutive days.
