Friday's game featured two former Vols. Rookie Jahmai Mashack started for the Grizzlies and Kennedy Chandler competed for Utah.
Mashack played 48 minutes for Memphis and recorded a triple-double. He totaled 13 points, 15 rebounds and 14 assists. Mashack also finished with two steals. Mashack converted 6-of-13 field goal attempts and 1-of-2 free throw attempts.
Chandler had a double-double, recording 26 points and 10 assists. He also finished with five rebounds and two steals. Chandler converted 11-of-20 field goal attempts and 4-of-7 three-point attempts.
Mashack was selected in the second round of the 2025 NBA draft by Memphis (No. 59 overall). He played for the Vols from 2021-25.
Chandler was selected by San Antonio in the second round of the2022 NBA draft (No. 38 overall). He played at Tennessee during the 2021-22 season.
