The Giants on Monday moved closer to a reunion with once-great wide receiver Odell Beckham.
At the very least, that would be another fascinating storyline amid coach John Harbaughās first season in East Rutherford.
Beckham worked out for the Harbaugh-led Giants on Monday, according to NFL Network. That means he might soon sign with them.
Harbaugh said recently he would be open to a reunion with Beckham, even though the 33-year-old receiver is a shell of his former self.
Still, Beckham has made it clear he wants to finish his career with the Giants, after opening it as a star in East Rutherford.
And if Harbaugh can get Beckham on an affordable contract, perhaps a reunion makes sense, with Beckham providing some depth.
The Giants need a legit, long-term outside receiver opposite Malik Nabers, since Darius Slayton clearly is not that.
So Harbaugh could draft Jordyn Tyson 10th overall when the 2026 NFL Draft begins Thursday night. Harbaugh just got that pick from the Bengals in the Dexter Lawrence trade.
At this point in his career, Beckham is not a difference maker. So it would be foolish to say he definitely would be an upgrade from Slayton, even though Slayton is flawed. And even if the Giants sign Beckham before the draft, they obviously could still draft Tyson at No. 10.
Itās worth noting that Harbaugh remains friendly with Beckham from their brief time together in Baltimore.
Odell Beckham's workout with the Giants suggests that he may soon sign with the team, indicating a potential reunion.
Odell Beckham is considered a shell of his former self at 33 years old, reflecting a decline in performance since his time with the Giants.
John Harbaugh has stated he is open to a reunion with Odell Beckham, indicating interest in bringing him back to the team.
