Frankfort boys and Allegany girls secured team titles at the area track meet in Keyser, W.Va. Luca Altobello set a Keyser record in the 1600m, while Bailey Ferguson led the girls with wins in three events.

KEYSER, W.Va. — Keyser’s Luca Altobello and Frankfort’s Bailey Ferguson led the individuals, and the Frankfort boys and Allegany girls won team titles at the area track and field meet Wednesday at Keyser High School.
Altobello finished first in the 800-meter run in a time of 2:00.53, and he won the 1600m in 4:18.70. His 1600m finish was a Keyser record, and he set a new school 3200m mark earlier this season.
The Frankfort boys finished with 158 points to lead the field, followed by Keyser (133.5), Allegany (118.5), Hampshire (97), Fort Hill (86), Mountain Ridge (50), Southern (33) and Northern (4).
Ferguson won three events to lead the girls competition, doing so in the 800m (2:26.90), 1600m (5:24.02) and 3200m (11:30.77).
The Allegany girls scored 129.5 points for first place in what was an all Allegany County top three.
Fort Hill was second at 114.33 and Mountain Ridge third at 106.83. Filling out the rest of the field were Hampshire (102), Keyser (84), Frankfort (66), Northern (36.33), Southern (25) and Bishop Walsh (3).
The other boys individual winners were Frankfort’s Van Ritchie (200m, 22.99), Gavin McDonald (3200m, 10:01.86) and Everett Smith (110m hurdles, 16.14); Keyser’s Dom Crawford (long jump, 19’ 7”), Deacon Stanislawczyk (pole vault, 11’ 6”), Braylon McGreevy (discus, 137’ 5”) and Cole Cook (shot put, 46’ 3”); Allegany’s Wade Napier (400m, 51.07); Fort Hill’s Chase Lamb (300m hurdles, 41.25) and EJ Scott (triple jump, 39’ 4.5”); Mountain Ridge’s Zach Haberlein (100m, 11.10); and Southern’s Graham Harvey (high jump, 6’).
Hampshire won the 4x100m and 4x200m relays, Mountain Ridge was first in the 4x400 and Frankfort took the 4x800m.
Athlete names for relay participants were not provided.
Allegany’s Myia Miller (long jump, 15’ 3”; triple jump, 32’ 2”) and Fort Hill’s Jaden Emerson (100m, 12.56; 100m hurdles, 15.59) joined Ferguson as multi-event winners on the girls side.
The other event champions were Frostburg State signee Briley Linaburg (pole vault, 10 6”) and Rylee Bauer (discus, 101’ 2”) of Allegany; Carolyn Hughes (300m hurdles, 47.18) and Lillian Rase (shot put, 32’ 1”) of Mountain Ridge; Eva Eglinger (200m, 26.47) of Hampshire; Conleigh Burton (400m, 1:02.09) of Keyser; and Samara Streets (high jump, 4’ 11”) of Northern.
The relay winners were Fort Hill’s 4x100m, Hampshire’s 4x200m, Keyser’s 4x400m and Allegany’s 4x800m teams.
