Arsenal have been linked with a move for one of Europe’s brightest young attackers, and this attempt is being pushed by a familiar voice.
Former Gunners midfielder Emmanuel Petit has openly backed a move for Endrick, believing the teenager could thrive in the Premier League despite his current situation at Real Madrid.
Petit has said that he sees Endrick as a strong fit for Arsenal, especially under the management of Mikel Arteta.
The Frenchman believes the young forward’s energy and raw ability could be shaped into something special in north London.
At present, Endrick is gaining experience away from Madrid, spending time on loan at Olympique Lyonnais.
However, his minutes have been limited, and that has raised questions about his short-term development path. Petit, though, sees opportunity rather than concern.
The former midfielder pointed out both his strengths and areas for growth, saying,
“He’s so young, only 19 years old. He’s very talented, very gifted, but he’s like a crazy horse with a lot of energy.”
Furthermore, he did not shy away from showcasing areas where the Brazilian must improve, adding,
“On the pitch, sometimes he’s a little bit too selfish. But at the same time, he knows he has huge qualities.”

Petit strongly believes that the Premier League could offer the right setting for Endrick to take the next step in his career.
In his view, the fast pace and physical nature of English football would suit the youngster’s style.
“He needs to be in the right environment to improve and develop because this guy is a diamond.”
Going a step further, Petit openly endorsed Arsenal as the perfect destination, stating,
“What kind of club would be very good for him? Given his qualities, I would love for him to come to Arsenal, to be honest with you.”
Despite the growing external noise, Real Madrid continue to view Endrick as a key part of their long-term project.
Within the club, there is a clear belief that he will play an important role in the first team, especially after gaining valuable experience during his loan spell.
While reports from England suggest that Arsenal are monitoring the situation, any potential deal looks highly unlikely at this stage.
This is because Real Madrid are not expected to consider offers, as they remain fully committed to Endrick’s development.
