Roberto de Zerbi believes Tottenham can win their last five games to avoid relegation.
Nick Hudson, a former Ivy League defensive back, has joined the Texas Longhorns after entering the transfer portal in January. He brings two years of eligibility and adds depth to the Longhorns' cornerback room.

The second of two portal additions made this week came in the form of Nick Hudson, former Ivy League DB. Hudson is a Texas-native that played his high school football at Shadow Creek High School in Pearland. Hudson entered the portal way back in January and had yet to find a home before yesterday. Now he’s a Longhorn and adds another body to an already deep CB room.
Career Stats: 52 total tackles, 1 sack, 13 PDs, 2 FRs in three seasons
Hudson comes in with two years of eligibility remaining and 975 career snaps(777 defense, 198 special teams). During his time at Brown, he put together a very strong sophomore campaign that included 13 PDs. That’s something that can be an asset in the Will Muschamp defense. That being said, I wouldn’t expect Hudson to crack the CB rotation much in 2026.
The CB room, on paper, does not seem to be one Texas needed another body in. That being said, adding someone that could take on special team snaps or rotate in against lesser opponents is valuable. If things go to plan, this will be a 16-game season for Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorns. You don’t just need depth that can play in big games, you need depth that can give starters time off in certain games. That’s what Hudson can do.
On top of that, I do believe a 5’10” CB being able to notch 13 PDs in one season means he has strong technique. That’s something Samari Matthews, Hayward Howard Jr. and more can learn from. I don’t expect Hudson to have massive on-the-field impacts for the defense but off-the-field, he can be a major asset.
The Longhorns roster seems to be full. In today’s college football, you never say never but it seems Texas has hit their 105 limit with the two portal additions and the new recruit. We will talk about that recruit, Brinley Tita, tomorrow. A Summer Creek player, like Hudson, Tita brings some interesting upside as a late addition to the recruiting class.
