This week’s throwback game comes to us from 2022. For years, Stanford was the Huskies’ kryptonite, as I have elaborated on. In fact, I should’ve realized Coach Pete was done after we lost to Stanford in his final season, and he looked worn out. Stanford had been on a downswing for a while under David Shaw (with even Jimmy Lake’s Huskies beating them 20-13 on the Farm the year before) and the Huskies (with Kalen Deboer, Michael Penix, et al) were on an upward trajectory. Still though, I saw this game as a sort of barometer for how good they could be. The answer, as it turns out, was pretty good! That’s all for today, so thank you for making Dots a part of your morning, and as always, Go Dawgs!
