Todayâs throwback game of the week is not a throwback at all, but rather a showcase of Denzel Bostonâs talents and what he can do at the pro level. Against Illinois, Denzel not only showed off his hands, his route running skills and his vertical leap, but also his passing ability, (throwing a 12 yard touchdown pass to Jonah Coleman) and toughness (getting caught on a hot mic saying âdonât baby me!â after injuring his ankle sliding out of bounds after a catch). These are all things that will hopefully make him very successful at the next level. Outside of Denzelâs stellar day (10 catches for 153 yards and a touchdown), this stands as the best game Coach Fisch called last season, offensively speaking. An all around win, and one that I remember fondly from last year.
Thatâs all for today, so thank you for making Dots a part of your morning, and as always, Go Dawgs!
