Only two choices are left for the Detroit Pistons when it comes to their fate in the NBA Playoffs: become the 14th team to come back from down 3-1 or join the 2007 Dallas Mavericks and 2011 San Antonio Spurs as the only three first seeds to get eliminated in the first round. Understandably, Cade Cunningham is frustrated with how this series against the Orlando Magic has shaped up. He even blasted his the way his teammates played in the Game 4 loss.
Knocking down only six three-pointers, committing 29 fouls, and turning the ball over 20 times were just some of the worst numbers to come out of the Pistons in their 94-88 loss. How bad is this Pistons NBA Playoffs run so far? Well, Cunningham and Coach Bickerstaff ran the 10th-best offense in the league during the regular season which clocks in at a 117.9 offensive. Against the Magic, they got limited to an insanely low 99.5 offensive rating. Clearly, those turnovers and fouls have been affecting the Pistons in ways that they could not fathom.
There is still a lot of time to change their schemes and fix these woes. Can the Pistons extend their NBA Playoffs run against the Magic in Game 5?
