On Saturday, FSU held its final scrimmage of the spring, and they appear to be trending in the right direction both offensively and defensively.
Defensive coordinator Tony White held a press conference on Monday where he talked about the progress of the team as April rolls on, and he had some genuinely good things to say about the team, especially when asked about some of the younger players on the defense
"It adds a different element to the room," he said. "It's good to see the guys take a second season of spring ball [well]. This group of guys [is] showing up. They want to win."
White also elaborated that several players are showing up to the facility "at 5 or 6 o'clock in the morning," affirming in their minds that this is something they are fully dedicated to honing and improving as the season inches closer.
Florida State welcomes New Mexico State to Tallahassee for their first game of the season on Aug 29.
