Keyon Standifer's recruitment has come to a close, and the Florida State Seminoles are on the outside looking in. The three-star wide receiver committed to the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on Monday, picking them over the Seminoles and Tennessee Volunteers.
It is actually the second time that Stadifer has committed to Georgia Tech. His first commitment came on Sept. 25, 2025, and he then decommitted on Dec. 5, 2025, as his recruitment took off. FSU entered the mix for him shortly after, extending him a scholarship offer on Dec. 30 and hosting him for a visit on March 9, 2026.
Standifer is ranked as the No. 932 overall player and No. 114 wide receiver in the 247Sports composite. The Covington native is also the No. 110 player from Georgia.
The 5-foot-9, 150-pounder has had an extremely productive career at Atens Academy, playing all over the field for them. Over the past two seasons, he has caught 110 passes for 2,848 yards and 44 touchdowns, carried the ball 42 times for 537 yards and seven touchdowns, and scored three special teams touchdowns.
While FSU missed out on Standifer, he never appeared to be one of the top targets for wide receivers coach Tim Harris Jr. They are in the top group for several key targets, including four-star prospects Jamarin Simmons, Sean Green, Cam Wade, and Jabari Watkins.
