The relentless pace of ONE Championship’s weekly series at Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium continues, as the promotion unveils another massive lineup of international stars competing for a US$100,000 contract and coveted spot on the global roster.
On Friday, May 8, the world’s largest martial arts organization returns to the “Madison Square Garden of the East” for ONE Friday Fights 153.
The nine-bout lineup is bolstered by the return of several breakout stars and the highly anticipated promotional debut of a former Rajadamnern Stadium Muay Thai World Champion.
In the main event, a pair of bantamweight Muay Thai stylists collide when Worapon Lukjaoporongtom goes head-to-head with French newcomer Tom Casse.
Worapon has been a revelation in the ONE Friday Fights series, racking up back-to-back first-round knockouts over Soe Lin Oo and Arthur Brossier. A knee specialist with heavy hands and a crushing clinch, the Buriram native is currently riding the momentum of two straight performance bonuses.
The Thai meets Casse, an aggressive puncher known as “No Time,” who brings polished boxing skills into his promotional debut.
Adding to the intrigue is the arrival of Cyber Sor Tienpo in the co-main event.
The 2018 Rajadamnern Stadium Fighter of the Year and former World Champion makes his promotional debut against Dedduanglek Torfunfarm in bantamweight Muay Thai action.
Dedduanglek, a Road to ONE: Thailand winner, is looking to re-establish his spot in the weekly series following a technical masterclass against Sonrak Fairtex in his most recent outing this past March.
The international segment of the card also features the return of Taylor McClatchie, who earned her contract by winning the 2023 Road to ONE: Canada tournament.
ONE Friday Fights 153 will take place on May 8 at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok.

McClatchie, a former scientist who famously traded her biology career for professional fighting, faces Switzerland’s Zoe Neuschwander in a flyweight Muay Thai clash. Neuschwander, representing Phuket Fight Club, looks to build on her decisive promotional debut this past April.
Both women are coming off unanimous decision victories over shared opponent Yara Saleh, adding another layer of intrigue to the battle.
The MMA portion of the event renews the classic Korea versus Japan rivalry, as Jongjun “TNT” Park faces Junpei Nagatome. Jongjun will attempt to navigate the grappling-heavy pressure of Nagatome, who brings a reputation for smothering top control and front sleeper submissions.
Elsewhere on the card, Kaewkangwan Torfunfarm – a veteran who holds a victory over the legendary Superlek – returns to face Morocco’s Mohamed Taoufyq. Fans will also see the return of the fan-favorite Ye Yint Naung, who goes up against the aggressive Khunponnoi Sor Sommai.
