The Philadelphia 76ers will play host to the Orlando Magic in the play-in game on Wednesday looking to secure and lock in their playoff seeding. The winner will advance to the playoffs as the No. 7 seed while the loser prepares for a second play-in game in order to try and earn the No. 8 seed in that instance.
As far as the injury report is concerned, of course, Joel Embiid (post appendectomy surgery recovery) is out. The big fella had to undergo the surgery on April 9 while in Houston, but he was discharged from the hospital on April 10 and is back in Philadelphia. One has to believe he and the Sixers are going to be cautious in this situation in terms of his health.
Rookie big man Johni Broome (right knee surgery recovery) is also out. Other than Embiid and Broome, it's a clean injury report for the Sixers.
Trendon Watford (illness) has been added to the injury report as probable against he Magic.
Tip off from the Xfinity Mobile Arena is set for 7:30 p.m. EDT on Wednesday as Philadelphia looks to get to the playoffs.
