Rather than lay into Rosenior for his performance, Neville has instead directed his criticism at the Chelsea owners, questioning their long-term plan for the club.
âThis policy at Chelsea, this plan, I donât see it,â Neville told Sky Sports. âThese six and eight-year agreements that they give â itâs almost laughable from the start, whether it be for a manager or a player.
âThe owners havenât got a clue what they are doing. Iâve made massive mistakes as an owner, and sometimes youâve got to accept you donât know what youâre doing.
âThey are all over the place. I just donât get it. You deserve what you get in football, and thatâs every single ownership, and itâs a reflection upon them, not the coach.â
Rosenior lost just two of his first 11 games in charge across all competitions (W7, D1), with both defeats coming against in the EFL Cup semi-final.
