In the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft, the New Orleans Saints did not trade up as many rumors were suggesting they would, instead filling a position of need and getting another offensive weapon for Tyler Shough by selecting Arizona State WR Jordyn Tyson.

Tyson attended Allen High School in Frisco, Texas. During his senior year, he had 80 catches for 1,512 yards and 12 touchdowns receiving, completed both of his pass attempts for 34 yards and a touchdown, and on special teams had 10 returns for 212 yards, which helped to lead the Eagles to an 11-3 record.
