Although Cooksā stint with the Cowboys in the early 2020s was short-lived, it was relatively productive. The 33-year-old wideout recorded 916 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns in two seasons with the Cowboys, helping the franchise reach the postseason in 2023-24.
Cooks spent the first half of the 2025-26 season with the New Orleans Saints before joining the Buffalo Bills in November. The former first-round pick didnāt make much of an impact with the Josh Allen-led AFC East organization, only logging five receptions for 114 yards in five contests.
Still, Cooks has already proven that heās an explosive deep threat whoās one of the better route runners in the league, which could be enough for the Giants to become the second NFC East team to give the Oregon State product a chance to shine.
