Packers not expecting to play Lions in Munich in 2026
Packers president says Lions want home game, not Munich in 2026
The New York Giants are expected to surprise the NFL Draft by selecting Jordyn Tyson as their top wide receiver over Carnell Tate. They hold the No. 5 pick and may make a bold decision on Thursday night.

The New York Giants apparently don't view Carnell Tate as the No. 1 wide receiver in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Their WR1 is Arizona State's Jordyn Tyson, according to ESPN's Matt Miller.
And because of that, the Giants may shock the football world when they're on the clock with the No. 5 pick on Thursday night.

Pretty much all along, mock drafts have had Tate as the first receiver off the board. The Ohio State wideout could land with a variety of teams, but it seemed to be generally accepted that he was at the top of his class.
The Giants apparently think otherwise.
Tyson, out of Arizona State, has been well-regarded by everyone. The Giants just put him even higher in their rankings than other teams and analysts do.
Miller's mock draft from late Wednesday has the Giants taking Tyson at fifth overall, leaving Tate on the board for another team.
"I went back and forth on this pick multiple times," Miller writes. "I heard from a reliable source that the Giants don't expect Love to be on the board but would make him the pick if he's available. With Love going to Tennessee in this mock, there are three real options: Styles, Tyson or safety Caleb Downs (Ohio State). In the three-way battle among the two Buckeyes defenders and Tyson, I'm told the team has Tyson as WR1. 'No team did more work on Tyson or visited Tempe more than the Giants,' a rival area scout said."
The Giants believe Jordyn Tyson is a better fit for their needs as their WR1, as reported by ESPN's Matt Miller.
The Giants hold the No. 5 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
If the Giants select Tyson over Tate, it could set off a chain reaction in the draft, surprising many analysts and teams.

There isn't a bunch of noise out there that Tyson would be a bad pick. It'd just be quite surprising given the months of suggestion that Tate would be the first wide receiver off the board.
Tyson is the brother of Cleveland Cavaliers wing Jaylon Tyson, so it's an athletic family with professional sports experience already. Jordyn would join Malik Nabers to help Jaxson Dart and the Giants' offense blossom.
This will be a spot to watch on the draft board, for sure. The Giants could definitely grab a lot of attention if they look past Tate for a different wide receiver.
