The Giants have made a move to address their defensive tackle depth, signing veteran Shelby Harris, per multiple reports.
The 34-year-old Harris was originally a seventh-round pick of the Raiders in 2014, and has carved out a nice 11-year career with the Raiders, Broncos, Seahawks, and most recently the Browns. Harris played in all 17 games for Cleveland last season, making five starts with 1.0 sack and seven tackles for loss.
Listed at 6-foot-2, 288 pounds, Harris has played in 146 career regular season games with 28.5 sacks, 58 tackles for loss and 65 quarterback hits.
Later on Wednesday, New York made another move to strengthen their defensive line, signing DT Leki Foku, per multiple reports.
Foku, who'll turn 28 in August, has made 103 total tackles and 4.5 sacks over 66 career games across six seasons with four different teams.
He was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft out of Utah and played his first four seasons with the team. After a year with the Jets in 2024, the defensive tackle played six games for the Las Vegas Raiders and two for the Houston Texans in 2025, making 11 tackles with a sack.
