Several sources have claimed that Giuntoli is the leading candidate to replace Tony DāAmico in 2026-27, but according to Moretto, the agreement between Giuntoli and La Dea is already finalised.
The Italian transfer expert reports that the two parties have finalised all the details and the agreement will be confirmed with an official statement in the coming days.

Giuntoliās appointment means Atalantaās sporting director, Tony DāAmico, will leave the club after four years.
DāAmico has been linked with Milan and Roma.
The Rossoneri were already interested in the 46-year-old last summer before ultimately appointing Igli Tare.
