Glacier softball team won two games, defeating Helena 16-6 and Capital 8-3. Tensley Conner hit a two-run homer and Emma Smith drove in four runs in the first game.
HELENA — Tensley Conner went 3-for-3 with a two-run homer as Glacier beat Helena 16-6 in a Class AA conference softball game Saturday.
The Pack then beat Capital 8-3 to complete a sweep of the Helena schools.
Glacier broke the game open with six runs in the sixth inning and piled up 20 hits against Helena High (6-9). Emma Smith drove in four runs, while Taelor Holt finished 4-for-4 at the plate as the Wolfpack scored in five different innings.
Charlotte Schulte answered for the Bengals with a three-run homer in the third inning, cutting Glacier’s lead to 7-6, but the Wolfpack quickly responded. Conner’s two-run shot in the fourth helped swing momentum before the offense erupted again late.
Olivia Warriner earned the win and Ava Grady struck out seven over three scoreless innings in relief. Sophia Frederick, Karley Allen and Lanee Anderson also collected multiple hits for Glacier.

The Wolfpack (14-3) pulled away with six runs in the sixth inning after holding a narrow 2-1 lead through five.
Glacier’s Karley Allen had three hits, including a triple, and Addy Cunningham also had three hits. Olivia Warriner drove in two runs. Lanee Anderson chipped in two hits for the Wolfpack.
Grady earned the win in relief, allowing one run over four innings while striking out four. Warriner started and gave up two runs over three innings.
Capital’s Megan Emmert and Avery Williams led Capital (4-10) with two hits.
