Chelsea are once again looking for a new head coach after they sacked Liam Rosenior last month, less than four months after appointing him.
Rosenior became the second head coach to leave Chelsea this season following the departure of Enzo Maresca in January.
Calum McFaralne is in interim charge for the remainder of the season whilst the sporting directors conduct their search for a new head coach.
Thereâs reportedly seven or eight names under consideration, with Andoni Iraola widely believed to be an early front runner.
Xabi Alonso and Marco Silva are other names which are said to feature highly in Chelseaâs thinking, but the Blues will take their time before making a decision.
Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solehkol thinks Chelsea can still attract big name managers, with the Blues desperate to get someone in who commands the respect of the dressing room from day one.
Chelsea canât afford to get the next head coach wrong, and Johnson believes Fabregas would instantly get the respect of the dressing room.

âChelsea have had both [types of manager], an experienced manager who won everything? They sacked them. Young, promising managers? Sacked them too,â he said as quoted by Metro.
âI donât think it is a specific profile they are after, they only care about winning. Whoever it is needs time to turn it around and win.
âBoth Iraola and Fabregas have credentials, having Premier League experience as a manager is huge whereas Cesc knows the club a lot better and as a former player, would definitely get the playersâ respect.â
