But, according to GM Brandon Beane, other teams approached the Bills to inquire about trading for Coleman. Beane said the Bills âshut downâ those talks because they think Coleman will rebound in 2026.
âWeâve hit the reset button with him, and hopefully the fan base and everyoneâs behind him. I think his best year is yet to come here in 2026,â Beane said on WGR-550 Radio, per ESPN.
The Bills acquired veteran receiver DJ Moore in a trade with the Chicago Bears and selected UConn Huskies receiver Skyler Bell in the fourth round of the draft.
Moore becomes the No. 1 receiver for star quarterback Josh Allen. Last season, Khalil Shakir led Buffalo with 72 receptions for 719 yards and four touchdowns. Coleman added 38 receptions for 404 yards and four scores.

Beane and new head coach Joe Brady, the teamâs offensive coordinator for the past two years, praised Coleman for his commitment during the Billsâ offseason program.
âWeâre excited about Keon, and heâs, the first few weeks here, itâs been very, very positive,â Beane said. âAnd I think you guys will see that in time.â
