Sergio Garcia did not come off well at all during the 90th edition of The Masters this week.
Garcia, the 2017 Masters champion, is well known for his fiery personality on the golf course.
However, the 46-year-old Spaniard took things too far on Sunday when he damaged the second tee-box and broke his driver by smashing it into a water cooler.
Garcia was reprimanded by Masters officials immediately after the incident, and received a code of conduct warning.
It was sad to see Garcia â an incredibly experienced player â acting like such a spoiled child on one of golfâs grandest stages.

There have actually been calls for Garcia to be banned from Augusta National after his atrocious behavior on Sunday at The Masters.
One thingâs for sure, his post-round interview didnât do him any favors whatsoever.
The Spaniard spoke to reporters and arrogantly batted away questions while drinking a bottle of water.
For context, here is his press conference in full:
Q. Obviously you were frustrated early in your round. Had that been building through the week? What happened?
SERGIO GARCIA: âThrough the year. Yeah. Just obviously not super proud of it, but sometimes it happens.â
Q. Take us through what happened later on that hole when you were carrying Jonâs bag.
SERGIO GARCIA: âThere was nothing. Adam stopped to rake my bunker, and Benji, my caddie, was carrying both bags, so I told him, just put it down, Iâll get it so you can go and get a yardage. Just as simple as that.â
Q. What did they tell you on the 4th hole?
SERGIO GARCIA: âIâm not going to tell you.â
Q. You talked coming into the week about how frustrating this year has been overall. Is that just a culmination of everything, too? Whatâs the plan to try to â
SERGIO GARCIA: âNo, itâs not a combination of everything. Itâs fine. Itâs what it is. Youâve just got to deal with it.â
Q. How much more difficult does it make it strategy-wise with you not being able to use a driver?
SERGIO GARCIA: âIt makes it very easy. I just have to hit 3-wood all the time. I didnât have to choose another club.â
Q. Your record here since you won is surprising to a lot of us. Is there a theme there or one reason for it? How do you explain that?
SERGIO GARCIA: âBad golf.â
Q. Is there something specific here that has happened â
SERGIO GARCIA: âBad shots.â
Q. But you can do that anywhere, but you win here and we would think you know how to play this golf course, so there must be more to it.
SERGIO GARCIA: âWell, if you donât hit good shots, youâre not going to score well here. Itâs very simple.â
Q. Youâve just coincidentally hit bad shots here, a lot since youâve won. Is it as simple as that?
SERGIO GARCIA: âYeah, unfortunately a lot of bad shots.â

Q. Did they give you a warning or something on the 4th â
SERGIO GARCIA: âNext question, please.â
Even without watching the video, Garciaâs disdain for the media shines through brightly.
Numerous golf fans flooded social media in reaction to Garciaâs post-round interview.
One fan fumed: âThis should never happen if you are a true professional.â
One said: âDamn, this guy was celebrated for finally winning the major just a few years back. Heâs older now, and as a LIV sellout, he should just understand that Augusta in April is just a victory lap these days. Hopefully he doesnât get asked back,â while another exclaimed: âTake away his membership! Never let him back!! What is he 16?? Grow up!!â
And the comments kept coming with fans stating, âHope he didnât lose his pacifier,â and, âA grown man that has spent his career crying like a baby anytime he isnât winning is really sad, feel bad for the guy he should be so happy and grateful. Tons of money, beautiful family but he acts like this. Sad.â
âBar him from ever playing in the Masters for life,â another fan suggested.
While one golf fan labelled Garcia as a âdisgrace to the gameâ: âLIV can keep him forever!! Disgrace to the game.â
âThat is the worst and most awkward, uncomfortable post-round interview I have ever seen. Ban him and donât allow him to come back,â one golf fan fumed.
While another said: âHonestly embarrassing. Worth tens of millions and plays golf for a living and acts like that. Kick him out.â
One golf fan questioned why Garcia wasnât more humble: âHow about âIâm sorry that was unacceptable behaviorâ?â
