May 9âIllinois guard Quentin Coleman will make his USA Basketball debut at the U18 national team training camp that begins May 21 in Colorado Springs, Colo. The 6-foot-4 guard was one of 35 players invited to the training camp. From that group will come 12 who make the roster for the FIBA U18 AmeriCup scheduled for June 1-7 in Leon, Mexico.
Coleman's inclusion comes after a standout senior season at Principia (Mo.), flipping his commitment from Wake Forest to Illinois, standout performances at both the Jordan Brand Classic and Iverson Classic and a rankings bump in the Class of 2026 that made him a composite five-star prospect.
