The Denver Broncos received a cumulative GPA draft grade of 2.51, ranking 26th out of 32 NFL teams. This is a drop from their 24th position last year, with only one A- grade among their selections.
Following the 2026 NFL draft, René Bugner compiled a round-up of post-draft grades for all 32 clubs, citing 24 sources. He then ranked the 32 teams by their cumulative "GPA" grade.
The Denver Broncos were given a cumulative grade of 2.51, which ranks 26th in the NFL (they ranked 24th last year). Denver's draft class received just one A(-) grade, followed by eleven B(+-) grades, eleven C(+-) grades and one D(+) grade.
The A- grade came from the league's official website (the easiest grader) and the D+ grade came from Bleacher Report.
Ryan Wilson of CBS Sports ranked the Broncos' draft classes 26th and 28th, respectively, in 2024 and 2025. Despite those low draft rankings, Denver posted a 70.6% winning percentage from 2024-2025. Clearly, immediate draft grades do not necessarily reflect or predict the upcoming success (or failure) of a club.

We can't truly grade a class until three, four or five years down the road, after players have established themselves. So in 2029 or 2030, we can check back on these cumulative draft grades and determine how well (or poorly) they have aged.
