The 2026 NFL Draft has wrapped up, and the Tennessee Titans and general manager Mike Borgonzi added eight new draftees to the roster as they continue to work their way back into contention.
Overall, the Titans were aggressive and did a great job of grabbing talent while filling some critical needs with experienced players. While it will take some time to fully grasp the full impact of this class, it is the era of hot takes and instant analysis, so like every other outlet, Titans Wire has decided to hand out our grades for this haul.
The Titans’ draft class has been one of the more polarizing ones across the medium spectrum, ranging from an A+ to a C-, and while in the end those mean nothing, it does make for an interesting read.
Here is how we broke down all eight of the Titans' selections:
Hopefully, Tate outperforms this grade and shows the talent to do so. A big outside receiver, who has shown the ability to get deep and be a reliable target in traffic, he should be able to come in and secure a starting role early. Yes, there are some questions about his measurables, and he didn’t participate in some of the combine drills, but his tape shows a dynamic threat who has improved throughout his career.
Faulk has the size and demeanor to develop into a dominant player in Robert Saleh’s defense, although there is some room to grow. He’s coming off a down year in terms of sacks as compared to 2024, but he took on a bit of a different role in 2025. Already a solid run stuffer, he has a high ceiling and should be a Day 1 starter.
Hill was a tremendous value for the Titans when they traded up to get him. An experienced linebacker with upside, he should be able to step in and add some intensity to the room early in his career. A productive player at Texas, his ability to step up in big moments jumped off the tape and should be a welcome sight for fans tired of seeing the Titans falter on critical downs.

The pre-draft process wasn’t kind to Carmona, who saw his stock drop after testing poorly at the combine. Couple that testing with short arms, and you can understand why he fell to the fifth round. An experienced offensive lineman who has played left tackle, he is a solid blocker who plays with an edge. He should definitely come in and compete for playing time early on.
This grade could have been higher if more information were available on the status of his foot injury, which he suffered at the Senior Bowl and prevented him from taking part in the combine or the Penn State pro day. An explosive back that runs with power and vision, he is a home run threat from any part of the field and has shown some upside as a receiver, and if healthy, he should come in and grab some playing time.
Marshall is a bit undersized as a pure defensive tackle, although he should fit into the scheme. A high-character defensive lineman, it will be interesting to see how the Titans deploy him through camp. While I do like the player, there were still a few defensive backs available whom I considered a higher priority than a reserve defensive lineman.
Coogan was arguably the best center prospect when he was selected in the sixth round, and he brings a wealth of experience and championship pedigree to the organization. Although he does lack some athleticism and may have a lower ceiling than some prospects, he has the ability to make an impact early in his career and could outperform his draft status.
Kanak is an intriguing developmental prospect who comes to Nashville with upside. A linebacker for three seasons, he transitioned to tight end as a senior and made enough of an impact to be named third-team all-conference in the SEC. Kanak is a player I could see special teams coordinator John “Bones” Fassel pounding the table for, and that should be his path to the roster.
