Phoenix Suns sharpshooter Grayson Allen is reportedly questionable for the Play-In game against the Golden State Warriors in the NBA playoffs. The Suns guard is dealing with a hamstring issue and didn't play the regular-season finale for the same reason.
The hamstring soreness could reportedly keep Allen out of Friday's win-or-go-home game. His playing status will be determined during shootarounds and pre-game warmup.
Allen has been a critical piece for the Suns this season, averaging 16.5 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.8 assists. His 3-point shooting is his biggest asset, but this season, he has shot at a clip of 34.9 percent, way less than his 40.3 percent career shooting split.
The Suns use Allen to stretch the floor, which in turn gives a pick-and-roll situation with Devin Booker driving the ball to the basket. Though he is not shooting incredibly well this season, his ability to get heated up from outside can swing the momentum of any game, especially in the playoffs.

With about 8:22 to go in the first half, Allen subbed out due to a non-contact injury and never returned.
"For Grayson, that's tough. Obviously, there's always a chance (of getting injured) whenever you're on the court, but hopefully he'll be alright," Suns starting center Mark Williams said after the game.
"That's super tough. Not a good thing for us to have Grayson be hurt," Suns forward Ryan Dunn said.
It was a meaningless game where the Suns should probably have sat out Allen, keeping the upcoming playoffs in mind. Allen is having his best season in terms of scoring, and only time will tell whether he'll be able to suit up for what could be the Suns' final game of the season.
