Across six seasons at Kansas, Daniels showed steady development, with flashes of higher-end efficiency in 2022, when he completed 65.8 percent of his passes for 2,014 yards, 18 touchdowns, and 4 interceptions.

The profile fits what Tampa Bay typically looks for in a developmental quarterback. Daniels brings athletic ability, but the emphasis is on his ability to function within the pocket, manage the offense, and limit mistakes.

For a UDFA addition, that combination gives him a path to compete for a depth role while continuing to develop behind the scenes.
