The Cleveland Guardians are moving some guys up the ladder.
Angel Genao, Jaison Chourio and Justin Campbell all received minor league promotion news on Sunday.

Genao is a 21-year old infield prospect who plays shortstop but can also play third base and second base.
In 23 games at Akron this season, Genao has batted .263 with a .794 OPS. He has three doubles, two home runs and two stolen bases while also walking more (22) than he has struck out (18).
Chourio is the younger brother of Brewers star . Jaison Chourio is 20 years old, an outfielder from Venezuela.
The Cleveland Guardians promoted Angel Genao, Jaison Chourio, and Justin Campbell.

This season at Lake County, Chourio has played in 21 games and batted .321 with a .920 OPS. He has seven doubles, two home runs and 10 stolen bases along with a solid walk (17) to strikeout (18) ratio.
Campbell is a 25-year old right-handed pitcher who was a first-round pick in 2022 out of Oklahoma State.
The 6-foot-5 Campbell hadn't pitched in professional regular season games since being drafted until this year. In six outings with Lake County, he has a 2.40 ERA with 22 strikeouts in 15 innings.
These are guys the Guardians will hope can help them in the future at the MLB level, and right now, they're moving on up.
