The state boys and girls high school tennis season has concluded for the 2025-26 school year in all three Arizona Interscholastic Association divisions. Here's a rundown of team, singles and doubles champions from matches held May 4 and May 9.
DIVISION I
Team: No. 1-seed Hamilton defeated No. 2 Brophy, 5-0. The Huskies completed a dominant season, going 18-0 in AIA matches, including the state tournament, with 16 of those shutouts, according to the AIA website.
Singles: No. 1 seed Vikram Narendran of Tucson Rincon/University defeated No. 3 Samir Sumar of Brophy Prep, 6-1, 6-1. It was Narendran's third straight D-I title.
Doubles: No. 2 seed Nirvaan Patel and Rishabh Bendre of Hamilton defeated No. 1 Conor Cruse and Kane Mlnarik of Chaparral, 7-6, 6-4.
The Hamilton High School boys tennis team won the AIA Division I team championship on May 9, 2026, completing an undefeated season.
DIVISION II
Team: No. 2-seed Catalina Foothills defeated No. 1 seed Notre Dame Prep, 5-0. The Falcons finished the season 16-0 in AIA matches, including state tournament matches.
Singles: No. 1 Grady Callahan of Eastmark defeated No. 3 Dean Lanford of Notre Dame Prep, 6-3, 6-4.
Doubles: Emiliano Manzo and Andrew Schmidt of Marana Mountain View, who were not among the top eight seeds noted in the AIA bracket, defeated No. 5 Finn Griffs and Aaron Zeldin of Catalina Foothills, 6-4, 6-3.
DIVISION III
Team: No. 2-seed ALA Foothills defeated No. 5 The Gregory School of Tucson, 5-2. The Guardians finished the season 14-0, including state tournament matches.
Singles: No. 1-seed Ayden Thielsen of Gilbert Classical defeated No. 3 Dean Morthland of Tucson Pusch Ridge 6-3, 6-1.
Doubles: No. 3 Braden Huish and Isaac Palmer of Thatcher defeated No. 4 Drake Mills and Ryan Nicholl of ALA-West Foothills, 6-3, 6-3.

DIVISION I
Team: No. 2-seed Desert Mountain won its second consecutive title and sixth since 2018, defeating No. 5 Hamilton, 5-2. The win avenged the Wolves' only loss of the season, a March 24 defeat at the hands of the Huskies, who entered the championship match undefeated.
Singles: No. 1 seed Japneet Kaur of Boulder Creek defeated teammate and No. 2-seed Michelle Bullock of Boulder Creek, 7-6, 6-4. Kaur won the D-I title in 2024, defeating Bullock, who bounced back to win the singles title in 2025.
Doubles: Sisters Amaia and Maliyah McGinty of Canyon View, the No. 2 seed, defeated No. 5 Kaley Gravel and Hartleigh Kelly of Desert Mountain, 6-1, 6-3.
The Desert Mountain High School girls tennis team won its second consecutive AIA D-1 state tennis championship on May 9, 2026.
DIVISION II
Team: In a battle of Tucson schools, No. 2-seed Salpointe Catholic defeated No. 9 Catalina Foothills, 5-0. The Lancers completed an undefeated season.
Singles: No. 1-seed Dillon Nye of Salpointe Catholic defeated No. 2 Gracie Petrow of Catalina Foothills, 6-2, 6-2.
Doubles: No. 1 Lacey Kaufman and Emma Murphy of Salpointe Catholic defeated No. 3 Emma Bartruff and Avery Eliscu of Canyon Del Oro, 6-1, 6-4.
DIVISION III
Team: No. 5 Rancho Solano Prep defeated No. 2 Tucson Pusch Ridge, 5-2. The Mustangs finished the season with only one loss.
Singles: No. 2 Noelle Oh of Scottsdale Prep defeated No. 8 Hailey Bostwick of Cicero Prep, 6-3, 6-1. Oh also won the 2024 title and was runner-up in 2025.
Doubles: No. 2 Bianca Carbone and Bryn Hermenau of Cicero Prep defeated No. 1 Maya Litt and Chloe Okrasinski of Rancho Solano Prep, 6-3, 3-6, 13-11.
