Veteran Warwickshire seamer Olly Hannon-Dalby will stay at Worcestershire for the next four County Championship games after having his loan deal at New Road extended.
Hannon-Dalby, 36, initially joined the Pears on a 14-day arrangement at the start of the month amid the uncertainty over the availability of South African all-rounder Bayers Swanepoel.
In his two games, Hannon-Dalby has taken seven wickets, with six of those coming in Worcestershire's 57-run win over Middlesex at Lord's.
Despite Swanepoel now being able to take up his season-long contract following the approval of his No Objection Certificate from Cricket South Africa, Worcestershire have extended Hannon-Dalby's deal to include the next four rounds of the County Championship, against Kent, Northamptonshire, Durham and Lancashire.
It means he will stay with the Pears until the start of the T20 Blast on 22 May at least.
"Olly has done brilliantly since coming into the group," Pears head coach Alan Richardson said.
"He has hit the ground running and put in two brilliant performances, showing both his quality and professionalism. Hopefully there'll be plenty more wickets to come from him."
