Gabriel Torres sent home a rebound goal in the 64th to give El Paso a 4-0 advantage.
Hartford actually outshot El Paso in the game, 12-11, though Locomotive FC had 58 percent of possession.
The loss wasnât too damaging for Athletic, now 2-3-1 on the season (W-D-L) and tied for fourth in the USL Eastern Conference standings.
The team will host Loudon United FC on Saturday, April 18 at 7 p.m.
