
Amad Diallo supports Michael Carrick for the permanent Manchester United manager position after a successful interim period. Carrick has led the team to seven wins in ten games, boosting them to third in the Premier League and aiming for Champions League qualification.

Amad Diallo has backed Michael Carrick to be made permanent manager of Manchester United.
Carrick has put himself in the conversation for the permanent position after an excellent period as interim head coach. United have won seven of his 10 games in charge, a run which includes wins over Arsenal, Manchester City, and Aston Villa.
The Red Devils have climbed to third in the Premier League table and are on course for Champions League qualification.
Carrick is one of several names under consideration. Julian Nagelsmann, Mauricio Pochettino and Gareth Southgate are among those also linked with the role.
There is understood to be a growing support for Carrick within the dressing room and Amad has now spoken out in support of the caretaker coach.
Though he said the players are not responsible for the decision, the Manchester United winger stated his belief that Carrick is the ‘right man’ to take the club forward.
“From a personal view he’s the right man,” said the Ivorian.
“He has a lot of experience; he knows the club and has the DNA.
“His relationship with every player is very good. Sometimes this kind of manager can bring the club where they belong.
“It’s not the players who decide but my honest opinion is we’re really happy to have Michael Carrick as a manager.”
