Lampard is a legend at Chelsea, and is the clubs highest goalscorer, whilst heâs had two separate spells in the dugout.
His most recent spell was on an interim basis at the end of the 2022/2023 season after Graham Potter was sacked with ten games remaining.
Lampard was seen in the stands watching Chelseaâs 3-0 defeat to Manchester City last weekend, and is on the brink on guiding Coventry City to promotion to the Premier League.
Liam Rosenior has come under intense pressure in recent weeks, with Chelsea on a poor run of form and in danger of missing out on Champions League football.
