Hunter Busby was the hard-luck loser, going all six innings and allowing three hits and four runs. Isaiah Williams hit a two-run singe with the bases loaded in the bottom of the second inning.

—Dylan Endle had a pair of home runs and drove in three runs, but it wasn't enough as New Prague downed John Marshall 16-5.

—Colter Hegge had three hits, two of them doubles, and drove in two runs in Lake City's 11-1 win over Dover-Eyota. Luke Fleming tossed a one-hitter over five innings for the Tigers and struck out seven.
