No. 8 Bingham won 17-11 over Cedar Valley in Game 1 of the 6A Regionals best-of-3 series. Lily Gritton helped secure Binghamâs victory, going 1 for 4 at the plate with a hit and pitching the win with four strikeouts. Cedar Valley rallied late with four runs each in the fifth and sixth innings but could not overcome Binghamâs early lead. Game 2 is scheduled for Friday.
In Game 1 of the 6A Regionals best-of-3 series, Skyridge, ranked No. 10, rallied in the later innings to beat No. 7 Westlake 11-8. Trailing by four runs after two innings, Skyridge scored five runs in the third inning and three more in the fourth to take the lead. Eden Rose went 2 for 4 and drove in three runs for Skyridge, while Callie Baker added a hit and an RBI. Westlake, with a homer each from Devi Tuivai and Audrey Sherman, couldnât capitalize on Skyridgeâs two errors and their four of their own cost them. Game 2 will be held on Friday.
In Game 1 of the 6A Regionals best-of-3 series, No. 3 Lehi defeated No. 14 Lone Peak 15-0. Lehi took charge early with four runs in the first inning, followed by seven more in the second. Jaxie Medler stood out for the Pioneers, earning the win on the mound with six strikeouts. Lone Peak struggled offensively, managing only two hits and committing three errors.
Bingham won the game against Cedar Valley with a final score of 17-11.

No. 4 West Field clinched a narrow victory over No. 13 Payson with a 7-6 win in Game 1 of the 5A Regionals best-of-3 series. Payson initially led through the first two innings, scoring 1 and 3 runs respectively, but West Field responded by scoring 3 runs in the third inning. West Field secured their victory in extra innings, adding 2 runs in the seventh. Payson also attempted a comeback in the seventh with 2 runs but fell short. The series continues with Game 2 on Friday.

Box Elderâs offense was lethal throughout, with Olivia Daniels hitting a home run and driving in four runs, while Kailee Hall hit two triples. Lucy Braegger secured the win on the mound as the Bees plated runs in each inning, posting four runs in both the second and third innings and six more in the fourth.

Kyla Donegan sparked Maple Mountainâs offense with a solo home run while Bella Ekenstam added a triple driving in two runs. Taylorsville managed to score one run in the third inning, but a seven-run surge by Maple Mountain in the fourth solidified their victory.
Number 8 Springville defeated No. 9 Hillcrest 10-0 in Game 1 of the 5A Regionals best-of-3 series. After a scoreless first two innings, the Springville Red Devils rallied with a combined three runs scored during the third, fourth, and fifth innings. Morgan Fairbourne showcased her power at the plate with a home run, driving in three runs. Kalia Sjoberg and Allyx Haveron also contributed to the offense with two doubles each. The Red Devils will look to close out the series when they face the Huskies again in Game 2 on Friday.
