SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — Angelo State Rambelles tennis continues to make history with its best-ever start.
It was a perfect day for the No. 24 Angelo State Rambelles at the ASU Tennis Complex. The weather was bright and sunny, and to say the Rambelles dominated Sul Ross State on Sunday afternoon would be an understatement.
The Rambelles quickly claimed the team doubles point to lead the match 1-0, winning each set by a 6-0 margin. Singles proved to be no different, as ASU won all six matches in straight sets, each by 6-0 margins. The Rambelles did not drop one game the entire match.
With the win, the Rambelles improve to 19-0 overall and 6-0 in the Lone Star Conference. They return to the ASU Tennis Complex next weekend for matchups with UT Tyler and UT Dallas on April 18 and 19, respectively.
