However, he has been out for such a long time that it would be daft to try and bring him back into the squad too soon. He needs to get fully up to speed and match fitness, and then he will need to be eased back into the team off the bench.
Colwill has played a couple games for the U21s, so he will be building up his match fitness nicely now. But I very much doubt we will see him in Chelseaâs squad today at least.

Via reporter Bobby Vincent, Colwill said:
âWhen someone has had an injury that long, you have to be patient, not rush, take it day-by-day. Things can change day-by-day, his feeling can change day-by-day so we just take it step-by-step and when he feels ready to play then he will play.
âWe just need to manage his minutes in those moments to not push him too much because we donât want to risk re-injuring him but he looks brilliant, looks in a really good place. We are really hopeful we can see him before the end of the season.â
Moises Caicedo is currently struggling for form, but Aston Villa star Matty Cash has claimed he does something better than most other players.
