Arnett went 3-for-4 with three runs and a couple RBIs in a 9-3 win over Whiteland. She also swiped two bases and converted her lone attempt in the field. Arnett added another hit and scored twice in game two vs. Whiteland.
Bennett pitched four innings, allowing only one run on two hits with six strikeouts in a 14-run win over Lawrence North. She also clocked three hits (two doubles), drove in three RBIs and scored a run at the plate. Bennett spun a three-hit shutout against New Palestine, striking out four and issuing zero walks.
Blazejewski pitched a five-inning, three-hit shutout of New Prairie with seven strikeouts, then went the full seven in a one-hit shutout of Mishawaka Marian, wherein she issued only two walks and struck out nine. She also had a hit vs. New Prairie. The junior pitched all five innings of game two, allowing two runs on seven hits with three Ks and a walk.
Buntin led the Grizzly Cubs at the plate, batting .455 with a .571 on-base percentage. She also caught 14 innings, recording zero passed balls and a caught stealing. She posted a 1.000 fielding percentage on 17 chances.
The senior went 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs in a 7-1 win over West Central. She was also 7-for-7 on fielding opportunities in the field.
Corn tied the the Malone Moore's single-season home run record as a freshman. She broke it this week as a sophomore, cranking her seventh and eighth homers against Warren Central. The sophomore hit .400 on the week with two doubles, the two homers and three RBIs.
Crozier helped Woodlan to a 3-0 finish last week, going 6-for-8 at the plate with a homer, two doubles and 10 RBIs.
The freshman clocked the second and third home runs of her young career against Brownsburg, finishing the game 2-for-2 with two RBIs and three runs scored. She added two more hits, two more runs and two more RBIs against Western on Saturday.
The sophomore spun a two-hit shutout of Mt. Vernon, striking out 13 of the 24 batters she faced. She also struck out 11 in a five-inning, two-hit shutout of Western. Jones notched a run and an RBI against Elwood, and two hits and two RBIs vs. Frankton, against whom she also pitched five innings, allowing one unearned run on two hits with 13 strikeouts.
The junior hit for the cycle in a wild nine-inning affair against New Palestine. She had five hits, including three doubles, scored four runs and drove in six more.
The senior collected three hits, two RBIs and a run scored in a 5-4 win over Westfield. She clocked two hits, two runs and two RBIs in a 10-9 win over Center Grove and a double plus a run scored in a 3-2 triumph over Bishop Chatard.
The sophomore collected five hits in a 14-1 win over Zionsville. Her hit total included two triples and a double, and resulted in three RBIs and three runs scored. She also went 2-for-3 with a couple RBIs and two runs vs. Mt. Vernon, and two hits and an RBI against New Palestine.
The junior hurler pitched her first career no-hitter against Southmont, logging 10 strikeouts and issuing only three walks (one HBP) across seven innings in a 2-0 win over Southmont. Parks also logged a hit and scored a run at the plate. Parks went 2-for-3 with three runs and two RBIs against Northview and clocked another hit and run scored in a game-two blowout win over Southmont. Parks went 3-for-4 with a double, a homer, two runs and three RBIs against Avon.
Schrock homered twice and totaled three RBIs in a one-run loss to Brownsburg. She added a double, a run scored and a steal vs. West Lafayette Harrison, and finished with 12 putouts on 12 chances against the Raiders and Cathedral.
Steele hit for the cycle against East Central, finishing the game 4-for-6 with four RBIs and two runs scored. New Pal won, 17-14, in nine innings.
Swank did a bit of everything for Central Noble, clocking five hits, eight RBIs, four homers and nine runs at the plate, and logging three wins in the circle, allowing only three runs on five hits with 47 strikeouts over 16.2 innings.
Wainwright posted a .750 average with nine hits, including two doubles, a triple and two homers, and eight RBIs.
