Bullpen blows up late in loss to D-backs, Padres settle for split in Mexico City
Padres fall 8-7 to Diamondbacks after bullpen collapse in Mexico City.
Inter can celebrate their Scudetto triumph next week despite a 2-2 draw against Torino, maintaining a 10-point lead. They need just one point in their final four matches to secure the Serie A title.
How Inter could celebrate Scudetto triumph next week
Inter were held to a 2-2 draw by Torino and saw their lead at the top cut to 10 points, but could still celebrate the Scudetto next week without taking to the pitch.
The Nerazzurri had been on track for victory at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino this evening when leading 2-0 with goals from Marcus Thuram and Yann Bisseck.
With that result, they would’ve required only a point in the final four games to be mathematically certain of the Serie A title.
However, they were pegged back to a 2-2 draw by late Giovanni Simeone and Nikola Vlasic goals.
Nonetheless, the Scudetto could be delivered next weekend, even without Inter lifting a finger.

The Scudetto is guaranteed if they beat Cristian Chivu’s old club Parma next Sunday evening at San Siro, which would be a fitting scenario for his crowning moment.
However, they might already have popped the champagne corks by kick-off.
If Milan lose to Juventus tonight (or against Sassuolo next week) and Napoli also lose away to Como on Saturday, it would make it mathematically impossible for them to catch the leaders.
