As ESPN reported, Steve Kerr spent part of the 2022-23 season quietly slipping phrases from Taylor Swiftâs âAll Too Wellâ into press conference answers.
The stunt started after a March 2023 win over the Houston Rockets, when Kerr said, âI walked through the door of the locker room at halftime.â
That line matched the opening of Swiftâs song, but Kerr delivered it naturally enough that nobody in the room caught what he was doing.
Over the long season, Kerr kept working more phrases into his answers and crossing them off as he went.
His son Matthew later edited the clips together for the family group chat, making it look like Kerr had recited nearly the whole song through Warriors media sessions.

Kerr declined and asked her team to keep it private, even though the entire stunt had technically happened in public night after night.
