The Aces enter Friday night winners of their last two games. Most recently, Las Vegas defeated the same Sun 98-69. The Aces were led by four-time reigning league MVP A’ja Wilson in the victory, as the 29-year-old had 22 points, 11 rebounds, and two blocks in the win. Chennedy Carter had a huge game in the win, too, as the guard had 27 points on 13-of-16 shooting to go with eight rebounds, four assists, and two steals in the win.

The Sun, meanwhile, who were recently announced to be being moved to Houston for the 2027 season, are a paltry 0-3 on the season. Including that lopsided loss to the Aces, the Sun also fell 89-82 to the Seattle Storm, and 106-75 to the New York Liberty, to open the 2026 campaign. Aneesah Morrow leads the Sun this season in points (16.0) and rebounds (11.0).

The Sun is going to need a huge game out of Morrow and help from the likes of guard Hailey Van Lith to pull off the upset over the Aces on Friday night.
