The Giants wrap up their three-game road series against the Cincinnati Reds in just a couple of hours.
Taking the mound for the Giants will be right-hander Landen Roupp, who enters this morning’s game with a 3.24 ERA, 1.90 FIP, with 18 strikeouts to five walks in 16.2 innings pitched. His last start was in the Giants’ 6-3 win over the Baltimore Orioles on Friday, in which he allowed just one run on five hits with four strikeouts and two walks in six innings.
He’ll be facing off against Reds right-hander Chase Burns, who enters this morning’s game with a 3.31 ERA, 4.81 FIP, with 18 strikeouts to eight walks in 16.1 innings pitched. His last start was in the Reds’ 10-2 loss to the Los Angeles Angels on Friday, in which he allowed five runs on seven hits with two strikeouts and four walks in five and a third innings.
