After 26 years, Donna Brothers will cover her last Kentucky Derby with NBC.

The Professional Women’s Hockey League is heading into the postseason, where four of the league’s top teams will battle on the ice for the 2026 Walter Cup. The four teams that have advanced to the semis are the Montréal Victoire, Boston Fleet, Minnesota Frost, and Ottawa Charge. Thanks to a unique rule, the top team at the end of the regular season, Montreal, gets to choose its semifinal opponent; they’ll compete against the Frost in a series that begins on Saturday. Game 1 of the Charge vs. Fleet series will take place on Thursday, April 30.
The PWHL semifinals will air across several regional sports networks, as well as on the PWHL YouTube channel; here’s everything you need to know to tune in.
The teams competing in the PWHL semifinals are the Montréal Victoire, Boston Fleet, Minnesota Frost, and Ottawa Charge.
The PWHL semifinals begin on Saturday, with the first game between the Montréal Victoire and Minnesota Frost.

The four teams in the PWHL semifinals are the Montréal Victoire, Boston Fleet, Minnesota Frost and Ottawa Charge. Per a unique rule in the PWHL, the tNo. 1 seed after the regular season gets to choose its semifinal opponent from the No. 3 and No. 4 seed teams. This year, No. 1 seed Montreal selected Minnesota as their semifinal opponent.
The PWHL semifinals will be broadcast on local RSNs in Boston (NESN), Minneapolis (Fox 9+, FanDuel Sports Network), Montreal (Scripps Sports Network) and Ottawa (TSN).

Both the semifinals and finals of the PWHL postseason are best‑of‑five game formats. In the semifinals, the first team to win three games advances to the finals, during which the first team to reach three wins takes home the ultimate prize. If a game is tied at the end of regulation, overtime is played 5 on 5 until a goal is scored and there are no shootouts.
